The third lockdown was planned to be on Hanukka, or that was we thought.
The timing was the first and second lockdown – an holiday. Meaning the schools will be on vacation and the economic price will be lower. And also that family gatherings (for lightning the candles) will be avoided.
But we passed Hanukka with out lockdown – mostly because the people will just ignore it.
The numbers keep rising: 3,000 new Coronavirus cases yesterday with 5.1% positive checks. The third lockdown seems inevitable.
The schools are of course a big source for spreading the virus, but not only. An ex-worker told us how she had her wedding (she has been planning for the past year). She found a location will be inaccessible for the police and celebrated with 250 guests. Fatma, if you ask, still wait for the 50 people gathering allowed to have her wedding on Guri yard.
On the other hand we have the vaccinations finally here! 🎉🥳🎊 The operation of giving it away already started. I don’t know if it will prevent the third lockdown, but I do hope it will prevent the fourth one…
Now, you have the people wishing to get it early as possible, among the are the elderly and some other as celebrities. I have seen a sign “vaccination waiting room” in the big plant I (part time) working in….
Atzva is on the other side, as do my aunt (60 years old). The first is worried for Fertility issues, but we are down the road anyway. The second just to sit and see what side effects the vaccinations has… 😑. My parents have not been invited yet, but Aba been rushed to ER yesterday. He measured high blood pressure, what causes him to have even higher. In the end it turn out the device is pretty old and so do the batteries (it is my Saba, some 30 years old) and he is OK 🙂. (Will buy him a new one, but you can call and ask how is he 😘)
