Rebellion movements signs in Tel-Aviv

Hi,
After I accomplished the mission of mapping out all of the Rebellion movements signs in Tel-AvivRebellion movements signs in Tel-Aviv.

This map complete the map of the Along the Lehi and Irgun in Ramat Gan, which I created about 4 years ago. Unlike the signs in Ramat-Gan, which only mentions the Lehi and the Etzel (the Irgun), the sign in Tel-Aviv also includes the Haganah.

The Haganah was Israel’s pre-State army and the biggest of the three. The reason there are no signs of Hagnaha might be because Ramat Gan in smaller and only the Lehi and Etzel operate in it. But to me it seems the real reason is Ramat Gan was more right wing in mind, which fit to the Lehi and Etzel ideology and those two movements operated in it. Later on, when the signs were set, the city was still mostly right-wing and emphasize the Lehi and Etzel activities.

Except walking around in the streets and taking photos of the signs, I used some additional sources:

The first was the site of Tel Aviv 100 (It is like Amud Anan website for Tel-Aviv, I told you about here), which hold a lot of information in. I found there many sites of the Rebellion movements which does not hold signs, I will keep those for another time.

Some of them I found in the original Amud Anan site, where people mark up interest point on Israel topographic map.

The rest I have found in the Israeli street signs site, streetsigns.co.il. I must say that once I have found this site, it pretty much pulled the carpet of making the map. They have a list of all of those signs, and also on a map. I decided to finish it, as I wished you will have one in English

If you will open it you will figure out there isn’t a really clear hike to catch them all (not like the hike I have created for Lehi and Irgun signs)

I am

Take Care
Gad
