Less than 5 days to the morning after. After the elections I mean. Bibi (has good chance to be the biggest party. And even if not, the right wing parties will probably be majority, and Bibi will be our first prime minister that need to go to court as a criminal still running the government.
I wrote we need to make this elections over economics. Well they are not about it. They are about Bibi. Many water flow in the river since than I wrote it, new parties came and than merge into old one – leaving one big left wing party: Kachul Lavan (Blue and White – as the colors of our flag) with Benny Gantz as the leader.
Their agenda is “Not Bibi”, which means they are not into the economy just replacing Bibi. All the campaigns are about Bibi or Gantz as persons. Not about what they think to do as PM, but about how bad is the other one is. In general it is the direction our politics is going to. We have 46 (!!) parties, more than any other democrecy in the world. While USA has only two of those.
Some of those parties are: Benny Gantz (a former cheif of staff) Hosen L’Yisrael. Yesh Atid, Yair Lapid party, was invented two elections ago. And Telem of Bogie Ya’alon, also new for those elections. All three parties gathered up to set the new Kachul Lavan party.
Economics or Gantz what is needed for replacing Bibi I will be happy about it. I do think they can make a difference for good. And I hope for them, for us, they will manage to set up the next government.
