Snowdonia, Wales
We went hiking in Wales. with all of Atzva new friends from the geotechnical lab.
The boy that led us is part of the “Hillwalkers club” in Cambridge. Because England is pretty flat, They have a club to arrange hiking and trekking to Wales and Scotland. But don’t let the name mistaken you, they are still European and what we in Israel consider a mountain, is no more than a bit high hill for them.
The highest, and therefor the most touristic mountain in Snowdonia is (what a coincidence! =) and it is about a 1,000 m high. We decided to climb to a bit lower mountain Glyder Fawr, (only 800 m) and to avoid all of the tourists =)

And looking down on the small town we slept in Pen y Gwryd (very strange language that Welsh it sounds like they just clear their throats…)
I really like that thing! In Israel we just use a gate with two diagonals to prevent sheep go out. Here they have all kind of sophisticated gates =)
What sheep? those sheep! See they mountain? That is Glyder Fawr – the mountain we climbed.
Water! We were very afraid of from above, but it was seem to be a nice day (in British terms…)

A nice view. Why taking picture only half the way up? I thought the same, but you’ll see what happened when we got to the top…

Take that direction to go down (good as any other one when you can see a bloody thing!) I hope the sheep knows how to get down.
Smart thing! you know people cross it, so instead of making them tire their trousers and ruin your fence, why not help both of you?

And for a few moment we could see the mount Snowdon far far on the left before that cloud covered it.
“What happened to that hill, why is she spotted with white dots?” I asked, “Sheep?” they answered

Coming back home after a long walk (10 miles I think)
Those British – Bourbon is that specific kind of long chocolate biscuit with those shape of holes and chocolate cream. And Custard is that specific kind of square vanilla biscuit with those shape of diamond on top and vanilla cream. Can’t they just call it cookies?!
