It is awesome!
We keep seeing every time we pass Hadera, which is between Tel aviv and Haifa, standing there tall and proud – the stacks of the power plant Maor Rabin.
I never thought I will be on top of them one day, But I did!
The just finished building a new, the fourth, to make the power station less polluting. The bottom of it is designed to catch the polluting parts and in the end make Calcium oxide from it.
What else can I say that the pic cannot say better?

So this is how 248 meter looks from below – the stack from outside…
The opens in the wall of the stack are for the beams of the factory, and caused a really mass for the engineers, that want to cut their number to minimum.
One meter thick at the bottom and around 30 meter diameter, it is being cleaned. Here is where the Lime factory well be built.
We are up! – To tell you the truth I keep thinking that the elevator will be stuck again (the last time it happened the workers on top were stuck here for 12 hours.
The top of the chimney only 5 cm below the plan – very good =)

Those vertical steel profiles direct the plates to which the concrete is cast formwork
That is what I like about building – it can be super hi-tech but you can still build a stack hundreds meter high and use a leveler water to see if the profiles are horizontal, a simple meter to check how high are you
The Hadera port, used to unload coal from abroad to the power plant (unfortunately coal is the number fuel in Israel). And by its side שונית that is popular among kayaks strikers.
A laser pointer on the ground project a point inside the bucket, so the engineers can see if they stack is exactly vertical.
And what happen when you cast the stack a bit tilt? you tighten the cables in order to straight it up again – simple as this =)

The formwork on top of the stack, a construction on it’s on.
They just finished unloading the coal from the ship. The ship sails away and the tugboats comes back the shore.
That’s high!
And all we are standing on is one cm thick wood plates…
On the way down….
The opens are for the Hugh steel beams of the factory, and they now become a problem because it’s going to be a problem to take those woods off when it’s couple of hundreds meter high.
