Hi,
We took a short break from the war (in which basically just wait something to happen) and took a dip in Merom Golan hot spring (which is just outside Kibbutz Merom Golan where we set for about a week)
As it is only ten minutes away from we currently sitting, it was not an issue even with Hassan Nasrallah second speech (which was pretty much the same as first speech a week ago – which Hezbollah will keep with his bookkeeping on Israel northern border).
The place is not a natural spring with water just bursting out of the ground. This spring is basically the outlet of the pipe that runs the hot water from a drilling near Kibbutz Shamir (there is another pipe with cold water next to it) The water fills in the reservoir, and when it colds down, the farmers around use it (the reservoir is called after Mount Bental above it)
It is not that cold at the moment, but it is cold enough to enjoy the hot water (unlike in hot summer days in Golan heights). In a couple of weeks the all area around will be covered with snow up to your knees, and it will a will be a wonderful experience to sit down in those hot water and enjoy the temperature difference.
Take Care

The entrance to the spring. You can recognize it by the Druze Gazlan car that is standing there most of the time

The hot spring surroundings look like an Icelandic landscape
