Jannaeus, Mindal, and I play laser tag around the house and outside of it. The phrase- You buy toys for yourself, and for your kids fits here, as I playing more than they does 🙂
It came after we played it with our friend Yuzik and his sons when we met them a couple of years ago. We figured out that if we buy a set of the same kind, we can play together l, as we do when we meet.
The military started using those as well but mounted on top of the assault rifles and on the helmets to better train the forces (which split to attack and defense units).
It is a very beneficial training. But as much as the laser tag sets worked well, it still had glitches (it might be it still under development). It made us all act as small kids playing laser tags in the arena with their friends. We were running and crying at one another: “I killed you, you are dead!”. While the other of course, answered: “No, you did not. I killed you first.”
During the laser tag training, we heard and watched the Iron dome interceptions of about 20 missiles fired from Lebanon by Hezbollah this afternoon.
