Weekend of fire – second part

Hi,
Following this earlier post on the weekend of fire around Gaza strip.

Rockets and mortar shells

This Saturday of fire ended up only tonight in 01:30, when the last siren on the settlements around Gaza strip have ended. A total 190 of rockets (mainly Qassam) and mortar shells were fired from Gaza strip to Israel. The Palestinians Militants of Hamas and Islamic Jihad took responsibility for this crisis, that started when IDF had bombed 2 attack tunnels that lead from Gaza strip to Israel.

4 were injured from a rocket hit an house in Sderot, and building was hit by a mortar shells in Kerem Shalom.

It seems like the memories of the days and night of Operation protective edge are coming might be coming back soon (look here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, and here)

24 hours of almost non stop bombing in 2 and a half minutes.

Qassam rockets damage in Sderot

Kite and balloon terror

And all along this time, the kite and balloon terror haven’t stopped. 15 fires were reported around Gaza strip. Hamas doesn’t seem to consider it an act of terror but a legitimize act of protest. It seems that the only reason Israel doesn’t responses to those fires, is that no casualties were reported yet.

IDF bombings

Only the other hand, what started as the widest attack on Gaza strip since operation Protective edge on 2014 on attack tunnels leading from Gaza strip inside Israel.

Strike on Hamas Battalion HQ in Beit Lahia.

for dead are reported in Gaza strip: Ahmed Hassan(35) and his son (13). Another two teens were reported  dead. Palestinians report that Hassan was an expert to explosives. Another person was injured.

Take care
