It happened with Jannaeus couple of months ago. “My belly hurts”, and we had to pull over in the next settlement (we were driving back from Atzva parents on the west bank, you cannot just stop on the side of the way in the west bank). Jannaeus refused to to try and take poop on field. We drove home while is holding himself.
I then realized that when had is toilet training (the name shows it all), was all on toilet. So Jannaeus can pee outside, but take poop outside…. well, that is a weak spot.
Now, while on military reserve duty, pooping on field is one of the enjoyable things you can have on those hot days outside.
Who that really thought us how fun it can be, was a replacement guide in 12 grade Scouts hike. Somewhere on Eilat mountains, he explained that after a long day of walk, without a shower, the best thing you can do – is climb to an high point have a poop. And the right way: not only pull down your pants but also your shirt. “That the closest you can get to a shower in the middle of a field week”.
And he was a right. It is completely different thing to have it outside. And while you can squat and poop, most try to improvise a toilet and miss some of the experience of pooping on field. You can some used ammunation boxes, a broken chair or even rocks if you can find some nice ones you wish to have your butt sit on.
