11th Day of Operation Protective Edge
They are in…

Nathan doesn’t answer the phone no more, and his fiance asked me to tell her if something happens (she is not yet part of the family yet, and the IDF will not announce her).

It took no more than 10 hours till your first little heart attack, while they are in. About 8:00 the radio declare that 2 soldiers were hurt and one killed. It will be about two hours until they will publish is name. In this time, they knock on the family door and ask them to sit because something happened to their son…

The two hours had passed and they declare is name: Sargent Eitan Barak. You’re relived but sad, but you can go on to see what the day had come to.

IDF soldiers are inside Gaza strip. Their declared target is to find and destroy the terror tunnels, that their entrance is in the first line of houses. Only today 8 tunnels had been found – from each one of them a kidnap (like Gilad Shalit) can presumed or a deadly terror attack.

The rockets cannot only be stopped in one of two ways – conquering Gaza Strip and searching it for about a year, or with a diplomatic agreement. No one thinks the first option is possible. Hamas keeping firing them all day and all night.
It seems like we have at least another week of fighting…

Take Care
Gad

P.S.
I never thought that counting dead people is a measure to how right or wrong. But when the Syrian conflict cost 314 deads a day (!) and the whole world keep looking on us… (on the other hand, news supposed to be new, and Syria is old stuff).
