Haifa, Israel
12th Day of Operation Protective Edge
It is a sunny day – a day to lay on the shore.
That’s our bubble here in Haifa =)
Couple of hours on the beach and after that “eat as much as you can” in our favorite fish restaurant.
Meanwhile, down in the south away from our bubble, IDF soldiers are fighting and killed. And people still running to shelter with every rocket from Gaza strip. One of them was killed, the second civilian in that operation
Two more were killed that morning, one from a tank shell the other from Hamas terrorists that used a tunnel to penetrate Israel.
Each of those Operations has a limited time frame. Basically it is the crowd opinion, in and out of Israel, that will end it. That was clear from the beginning – That is why we took our time and try all other options before entering Gaza strip. But the sand clock is ticking – protesters around the world and in Israel are demonstrating against the operation.
The governments are starting to push us into cease fire agreement. But this time, it is our side that will reject it.
At least until we will finish our work inside.
